Talk. Learn. Grow.
No matter what your goals are, there's a way to get there. CAPS offers a wide range of mental health services and resources designed to be mixed, matched, and tailored to you. View our Appointment Guide to learn more about your appointment options.
We believe cost shouldn't come between you and your mental health. If cost is a barrier for you, ask the counselor you meet or call to speak with a care coordinator about your options.

As-Needed Counseling
Our goal is to make it easier to get an appointment when you need it. Counseling appointments are available for students to book online through PatientLink or by phone on an as-needed basis. If the best plan is longer-term, we'll collaborate with you in planning your next steps.

CAPS Crisis Support
Immediate support is available for students in crisis and for those concerned about a student.
- Students can access crisis support services by calling CAPS 24/7 or dropping in CAPS South or CAPS North during business hours.
- Student supporters can call CAPS for a consultation or escort a student to CAPS during business hours.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to an emergency room.

Care Coordination
We believe mental health support comes in many forms, and we want to help you find the support that fits you best. Our care coordinators are experts in finding the resources that fit you best. In a free Resource & Referral appointment, they can help you find what you are looking for.

Site-Based Counseling
You have many intersecting identities. Talk with folx who get where you're coming from. Our site-based counselors offer free consultation, guidance, and resources to students at various Cultural & Resource centers and colleges.

Free Groups & Workshops
Learn useful mental health skills with others in our free groups and workshops led by CAPS counselors and CAPS peer counselors.

Medication
If you're on medication or would like to know if medication would benefit your mental health, your first step is a Counseling & Consultation session. A counselor will gather important information that will help them make recommendations and referrals for your care.
Whether your next step is medication management at CAPS, Campus Health, off-campus, or another service, your counselor will help you get connected.

Peer Counseling
Get support through student connection through one-on-one peer counseling and peer-led identity groups. CAPS peer counselors are UArizona undergrad and grad students who are hand-picked and trained to talk with you about whatever's going on.

Survivor Support Services
We support students of any gender identity who have been subjected to interpersonal violence, regardless of when or where it occurred. Whether you know exactly what you want to do or have no idea where to start, contact us and we’ll brainstorm options together.

Specialty Services & Assessments
We want you to start counseling with the best possible match. Search our providers by identities, specialty areas, treatment approaches, and payment options. Then, schedule a Counseling & Consultation session through PatientLink to get started. Our site-based counselors also offer free mental health support through Cultural & Resource Centers, departments, and student centers.
