The majority of CAPS services are no cost for main campus students.
There are costs associated with ADHD evaluation, IOP, and psychiatry, but financial assistance is available. Please note that late cancellation and missed appointment fees for may apply for all CAPS services.

Paid Services for Main Campus Students
ADHD evaluation, IOP, and Psychiatry are the only paid services for at CAPS. Financial assistance is available. Please call CAPS at 520-621-3334 for more information.

Health Insurance & Payment Options
Health insurance is never required and student discounted rates are always offered. We accept the following for our paid services: out of pocket payments at a student discounted rate, Campus Care, Student Insurance, or accepted major commercial insurance plans.
A few things to know:
- You can pay by cash, credit card, or bursar's account.
- Using Campus Care or any type of insurance plan will generate a claim with your insurance provider. If you have questions or concerns about this, let us know and we can discuss your options together.

AHCCCS
CAPS does not accept AHCCCS, but we can help get you enrolled and/or get you connected with care that works for you. Speak with one of our care coordinators or find out more about applying for AHCCCS here.
Assistance Funding
We are committed to serving the mental health needs of every University of Arizona student. If cost is a barrier for you, please call us at 520-621-3334. *note: due to insurance regulations, CAPS is unable to assist with insurance co-pays or deductibles. If you are unable to afford your co-pay/deductible, CAPS will bill at the fee-for-service rate.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Administrative Fees
Document preparation (letters, forms, etc.) and records review have a $15 administrative fee.
Late Cancellations & Missed Appointments
If you need to cancel any of your CAPS appointments, please do so before 4pm the day before your appointment to avoid a late cancellation or missed appointment fee. You can cancel your appointment with PatientLink or by phone: 520-621-3334. If you do not cancel within the designated time or you miss your appointment, a fee will be automatically billed to your account.
