CAPS Fees & Insurance

There are costs associated with some services at CAPS. We accept some major health insurance plans, but you don't need health insurance to use CAPS. We are committed to serving the mental health needs of every University of Arizona student. We offer a student discounted rate as an option for all students, but if cost is a barrier for you, please call us at 520-621-3334.

Here are some frequently asked questions about fees and insurance:

All enrolled students are eligible for CAPS and Campus Health Services and have the option to use the Student Discounted Rate for out of pocket payments (no insurance), Campus Care, Student Insurance, or accepted major commercial insurance plans. If you use Campus Care, United Student Insurance, or any of our accepted commercial plans, a claim is generated with your insurance provider. If you have questions or concerns about this, let us know and we can discuss your options together.

The following list details the cost of services as of the 2023-2024 academic year. Please note that if you have not already paid the health portion of the student health and recreation fee that covers the day you receive services, an additional daily user fee of $10 will be charged for that day.
