Group Counseling with Peers
Mental Health Connections
Mental Health Connections are weekly group counseling sessions facilitated by a CAPS counselor with 4-10 peers with similar goals and concerns. Groups are lightly structured, flexible spaces where students learn from one another, practice skills together, and build a sense of belonging. Come as you are and engage at your own pace. Connections are offered in person and over Zoom.
How to Join a Mental Health Connections Group:
A referral from a CAPS provider is required for most Mental Health Connections groups. You can schedule a Mental Health Counseling & Consultation session to explore Care Pathways and the Mental Health Connections options that fit best for you. Once registered for a Mental Health Connection, no show fees will be applied for missed sessions.

Days, times, and locations will be determined by student availability and interest for most of our Mental Health Connections. Interest lists are open for all of our Connections. Connections labeled as drop-in do not require enrollment.
