Education & License

Sarah received her BA from Whitman College, double majoring in psychology and philosophy. She will be graduating from ASU in May with a Master's of Social Work (MSW). She is also expected to complete her Somatic Experiencing Practitioner certification (SEP) in 2026.

Professional Interests

Sarah's professional interests include trauma and resiliency work, including working with developmental or childhood trauma, interpersonal violence and sexual assault, cultural and identity-based trauma, and crisis stabilization. She also works with anxiety and mood disorders. Other interest areas include working with queer and neurodiverse folks. She uses a humanistic treatment approach, focusing on expanding tolerance for negative emotions and experiences while helping the client increase opportunities for growth and healing. Her modalities include Somatic Experiencing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivation Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and expressive therapies.
